报告题目：Towards studying certain triple Hurwitz numbers

报告摘要：Hurwitz numbers enumerating ramified coverings of the Riemann sphere were proposed in 19^th century and have been found closely connected with combinatorics and representation theory of symmetric groups, the intersection theory of curves and the Gromov-Witten theory. However, explicit formulas are mainly known for Hurwitz numbers with at most two nonsimple branch points. In this talk, we will discuss some of our recent work on studying certain Hurwitz numbers involving up to three nonsimple branch points besides simple ones.

报告人简介：陈小锋，合肥工业大学数学学院研究员、博士生导师、黄山学者特聘教授。在美国弗吉尼亚理工大学取得博士学位，先后任职于华为、美国弗吉尼亚大学；入选安徽省高层次人才项目。主要研究领域为计数和代数组合与网络动力系统及其在生物数学和移动通信中的应用。已在J. Combin. Theory Ser. A, SIAM J. Appl. Dyn. Syst., SIAM J. Discrete Math., Adv. Appl. Math., Proc. AMS, IEEE TCSS等期刊发表论文20余篇，出版通信技术著作1部，是40余项关于4G移动通信等技术国内外已授权发明专利发明人。
