报告题目:Ecoepidemic dynamics of Alveolar Echinococcosis transmission with voles control

报告摘要:An eco-epidemiological lifecycle model incorporating interactions between the two hostsis formulated to explore the transmission mechanism. The basic and demographic reproduction numbers are developed to characterize the transmission dynamics. The study reveals that, under effects of the energy conservation, both population can coexist via a steady state or a cyclic oscillation bifurcated from a Hope bifurcation, and the disease becomes endemic simultaneously. Furthermore, we study how predation rates of foxes, voles control rates, and different voles control measures work. The findings suggest that improving the control rate of voles will reduce the risk of transmission, while the high predation rate of foxes may also lead to a lower transmission risk, which is different from the predictions of previous studies. The evaluation of the three control measures on voles implies that, when the fox’s predation rate is low (high), the chemical (integrated) control will be more effective.
报告人简介:范猛,东北师范大学数学与统计学院二级教授、博士生导师,吉林国家应用数学中心副主任。主要从事非线性动力学系统和生物数学研究,出版专著和教材各1部,共同主编论文集和进展特刊7部,发表论文百余篇,主持NSFC和省部级项目十余项。获国务院政府特殊津贴、教育部新世纪优秀人才、吉林省首批长白山学者特聘教授、吉林省高级专家等荣誉;获教育部自然科学奖二等奖、吉林省第七届青年科技奖、第六届秦元勋数学奖等学术奖励;获宝钢教育奖优秀教师奖、明德教师奖、吉林省高等教育教学成果奖等教学奖励。曾在美国Arizona State University和Purdue University、加拿大York University和University of Alberta、日本Shimane University和Osaka Prefecture University等进行学术访问。现任4种期刊编委、中国数学会常务理事、中国数学会生物数学专业委员会副主任、吉林省数学会秘书长、吉林省工业与应用数学学会副理事长等。
