报告题目: Dynamic Modeling of Transmission and Control of H7N9

报告摘要:H7N9 avian influenza is a highly pathogenic zoonotic disease. In order to control the disease, many strategies have been adopted in China, such as poultry culling, the closure of live poultry markets (LPMs), the vaccination of poultry, and the treatment for humans. Due to the limited resource, it is of paramount significance to achieve the optimal control. In this paper, an epidemic model incorporating the saturated culling rate is formulated to investigate the transmission mechanism of H7N9. The threshold dynamics and bifurcation analyses of the model are well investigated. Furthermore, the problem of optimal control is explored in line with Pontryagin's Maximum Principle, with consideration given to the comprehensive measures. The numerical simulations suggest that the vaccination of poultry and the closure of LPMs are the two most economical and effective measures.

报告人简介:范猛,东北师范大学数学与统计学院二级教授、博士生导师、院长。1991-2001年在东北师范大学学习并先后获得学士、硕士和博士学位。1998年硕士毕业后留校任助教,2000任副教授,2003年任教授。长期从事常(泛函)微分方程和生物数学研究,出版学术专著1部,联合主编进展特刊和论文集7部,发表论文150余篇,主持省部级以上科研项目13项(其中国家自然科学基金项目7项),获多项省部级学术奖励和人才称号,担任四种期刊编委。曾在美国Arizona State University和Purdue University、加拿大York University和University of Alberta、日本Shimane University和Osaka Prefecture University等进行学术访问。

报告题目: 分层湖泊中浮游植物时空分布的数学模型研究

报告摘要:Phytoplankton (algae) are the basis of aquatic ecosystem and play an important role in energy flow and material cycle. Most deep lakes on Earth are stratified. Lakes are generally divided into two layers:pelagic layer and benthic layer. Stratification separates pelagic layer with a horizontal plane called thermocline into two zones : epilimnion and hypolimnion. Several mathematical models connecting pelagic layer and benthic layer or epilimnion and hypolimnion are proposed to describe the competition of phytoplankton for nutrients and light in a stratified lake. The existence and stability of nonnegative steady-state solutions are completely characterized for all possible parameter ranges by means of stability analysis, bifurcation theory and extensive simulations. We also consider the influence of environmental parameters on the vertical distribution and biomass density of phytoplankton via a systematic sensitivity analysis, and investigate their roles in phytoplankton blooms. These results can be used for the prediction of phytoplankton competition and blooms in a stratified lake.

报告人简介:张继民,黑龙江大学教授,博士生导师,九三学社社员,黑龙江省数学会常务理事,2010年博士毕业于东北师范大学,2011年于吉林大学从事博士后研究工作,2016年和2019年公派访问美国威廉玛丽学院。主要从事微分方程稳定性和水生生态系统数学模型分析等方面的研究工作,主持国家自然科学基金,黑龙江省自然科学基金,中国博士后基金等项目10余项。在Journal of Nonlinear Sciences, Journal of Statistical Physics, Journal of Mathematical Biology, Mathematical Biosciences,Bulletin of Mathematical Biology, Journal of Dynamics and Differential Equations等发表学术论文40余篇。
