报告题目：On fractional Yamabe problem and fractional Mazzeo-Pacard program

报告摘要：I will discuss recent developments on the existence, compactness and noncompcatness of fractional Yamabe problem. Then we consider the problem of constructing solutions to the fractional Yamabe problem that are singular at a given smooth sub-manifold, for which we establish the classical gluing method of Mazzeo and Pacard for the scalar curvature in the fractional setting.

报告人简介：魏军城教授，华人数学家，现任加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学国家讲座教授。曾获香港优异科研奖、国家杰出青年奖、华人数学家大会晨兴银奖、教育部自然科学一等奖。2014年应邀在第27届国际数学家大会上做45分钟报告。他的主要研究领域是非线性偏微分方程、凝聚现象与爆破、数学生物学。他的许多研究工作具有划时代性及前瞻性，并且研究成就为国际公认，完整解决了著名的De Giorgi猜测。自1994年以来，他在Annals of Mathematics, Inventiones Mathematicae等发表了超过400篇学术论文，被引用超过一万三千多次 (Google Scholar).
